An Appeal to Friends of Jorg

A Letter from Jorg's Personal Friends

We would like to thank you for your kindness as to care of Jorg as always. We have to inform you honestly regarding Jorg’s condition. Jorg has diagnosed of Pancreatic Cancer, that it has spread to many parts of the organs liked liver, intestine and lung. Without any treatment, he could pass away within 6 months.


After he left the hospital, the oncologists have planned the treatments of both Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy for Jorg, as for out patient. The first course would be that Jorg receives Radiotherapy every day, 5 days a week for the total of 5 weeks: whereas one chemotherapy treatment will be combined on each week. The medical expenses for this Cancer treatment should be around 500.000 baht. After that, Jorg can go back to Phuket to continue his chemotherapy in Phuket, in order that he can live with his wife and children again. However, the oncologists did mention that Jorg should receive the treatments of Chemotherapy continuously. The medical expenses of these treatments would be definitely a great burden for Jorg, as he will have to pay around 500,000 baht for this 5 weeks treatment, and 60,000 baht per each Chemotherapy he receives each week.


Jorg has got all the supports of TCC Land Leisure to take care of his full payment during his 8 days in the hospital. We all feel that we should be able to help easing Jorgs’ burden on his serious sickness as well: at least, we should be able to help for his medical expenses. So, today, we have opened Jorg’s a savings account under his name “Jorg Meierhans” at Bangkok Bank, Thonburi branch. Savings account no., 107-0-69832-7: so that we all as Jorg’s friends can help to contribute some money for his medical expenses.


We would be so grateful, for helping to share this news of Jorg to many friends and for any contribution one can make. With every baht and stang, we all can help Jorg to feel that he is not alone in the world to fight for this serious sickness. Jorg has 3 children of 15, 11 and 10 years old still to take care.

It hurts so much to see a good man liked Jorg being sick now. He has always been a big brother to us all one way or another.
